While in Michigan, CSC Correspondent Rick Weaver covered the Downriver Dream Cruise, one of the largest held every year in the Metro-Detroit area. It was a fourteen hour event that took place on Fort Street (a six lane boulevard) starting in Lincoln Park, and concluded at the Southgate-Riverview boarder some five miles away.

People lined the streets all along the way to watch and cheer for their friends and favorite vehicles. Hundreds of machines on wheels ranging from off road trucks to motorcycles attended the event. Despite threats of all day rains preceded by flooding the night before the turnout was still large, and a good time was had by all.
