We traveled to Havana, Cuba in 1997 to cover the 30th Anniversary of Cohiba Cigars. Fidel was there to greet the auction winners, and autographed their forty to sixty thousand dollar box of Cohiba cigars. Since we didn’t participate in the bidding, we profusely lavished in the festivities of the world famous Tropicana in Havana, Cuba. As indicated in the story, Fedil prefers women rollers, but in the Dominican Republic men rollers are their top choice. Either way, it’s the blend that makes the cigar, but it’s the roller who keeps it together.
